A champion for a better future in Bruce–Grey–Owen Sound

Anne Marie Watson was raised in Montreal Quebec, moving to Ontario when she was 16. She returned to university after working for several years and starting a family, graduating with a degree in Political Science in 1993.

Living and working on the family farm in West Grey, Anne Marie has been married for 38 years. She was active with the Grey County Federation of Agriculture for over 15 years as a Director and served 2 terms as President.

Anne Marie worked in the not-for-profit sector for 30 years. She most recently worked as the Executive Director for the Durham Hospital Foundation for ten years, raising funds and recruiting doctors. She volunteered with the local Food Bank and Agricultural Society, raised funds for Big Brothers and Sisters and the Alzheimer Society and has been involved with community theatre for over 20 years.

Anne Marie strongly believes in a caring community with a strong economy and affordable living. Her first political action was taking part in a protest to preserve and protect a natural aquifer from becoming a potential dump site. She was Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound’s Liberal candidate in 2021 and is running again to be your voice in Ottawa.

She will fight to bring affordable housing and accessible healthcare to our area, to support local business and to fight for you and all Canadians in this undeserved tariff war.

She learned to fight for what she believes in and she’s ready to fight for you.
